The Journey is Shofar Cape Town South’s four‑step pathway designed to help you know God, find freedom, discover your unique purpose, and become part of God’s mission with His Church. Each step gives you practical tools, clear next steps, and a community that walks with you as you grow.

The Four Steps

Step 1: Discover Jesus
Learn who Jesus is, what He has done for you, and what it means to follow Him. You’ll also have the opportunity to sign up for water baptism.

Step 2: Identify Your Gifts
Explore your God‑given gifts, strengths, and personality. This step helps you understand how God designed you and where you can flourish in ministry.

Step 3: Grow Your Influence
Discover how to lead like Jesus — through character, servanthood, and authenticity — and learn how to use your influence to help others grow spiritually.

Step 4: Become a Co‑Worker
Find a team where you can serve and begin living out your God‑given calling. This step equips and activates you to partner with Shofar Cape Town South in helping others encounter God, belong in community, and find purpose.

Who Is It For?

Whether you’re new to church, new to faith, or simply ready for a next step with God — The Journey is for you. Everyone is welcome.

When Does It Happen?

The Journey runs on a monthly cycle. If you can’t make this cycle, don’t worry — there will be another opportunity soon.

Each session takes place directly after the Sunday morning service (11:45–13:00). The breakdown is as follows:

Step One — First Sunday of every month
Step Two — Second Sunday
Step Three — Third Sunday
Step Four — A personal check‑in scheduled after completing the first three steps
