Shofar Cape Town South is a growing, multi-cultural, multigenerational church family who is passionate about Jesus and committed to building a community where people can truly belong. Our heartbeat is to create a space where anyone — whether exploring faith or deeply rooted in Christ — can encounter God, grow spiritually, and discover their place in His story.

We gather around the presence of God, the truth of Scripture, and the call to make disciples. Through worship, life groups, Bible School, student ministry, and strong community life, we aim to help believers mature in their faith and walk out a lifestyle of worship and obedience.

As a congregation, we are committed to loving our city well, serving one another wholeheartedly, and raising up the next generation of leaders who will carry the Gospel wherever God calls them. Whether you're new to church or searching for a spiritual home, we'd love to welcome you into our family.

Join us for our service on Sunday at 09:30 at The Observatory Community Centre. Our Sunday services will be at this venue on every Sunday except the first Sunday of every month. We believe that God created us for community and therefore have many small groups, all over the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. Within these small groups, authentic relationships are built and life is shared. The small group is something special: it is a safe space where we encourage one another to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and where we serve one another with our gifts.
