TOGETHER CHRISTIAN MINISTRY
is facilitating interchurch small groups for Christian singles in their late 20s to late 30s in George.
The Thirties Zone small groups are part of a new interchurch singles ministry, called TOGETHER, and is open to non-married Christian men and women ages 26 to 39.
We hope to start Thirties Zone as soon as possible, probably towards middle to end of September.
Initially there will be one group, meeting weekly, held on a Monday or Friday night.
The venue will be determined by how many people respond but will probably be at a home somewhere in George.
You don’t have to be in a specific church to attend a TOGETHER Small Group, and you don’t have to leave your existing small group in your own church or community – this is an additional ministry to offer a place and sense of belonging and support to single adults in a strong Christian environment.
Small groups will typically include coffee and a chat, praise and worship, scripture share, life share and prayer.
Every first weekend of the month, all TOGETHER single small groups have bring-and-share lunch together after church on Sunday, with the first happening in November (more details to follow nearer the time). Sundays may include lunch at someone’s home, picnics at the park or on the beach, a farm outing etc.
Small group members can also join the interchurch TOGETHER Thirties Zone Christian Community WhatsApp social network on which ‘official’ social events will be published as well as ad hoc activities such as watching the rugby together, beach days, picnics, hikes, festivals, fun runs, and more.
